Powada Painting and Wallcovering, Inc.

My name is Frank M. Powada.  Everyone calls me Bud.  After graduating from college with a BBA in Management, I moved to Houston, Texas.  I worked for a couple of Home builders, a Commercial General Contractor and a Commercial Subcontractor.  I was working on my MBA when I started to think about starting my own company.  So in April of 1989, I started Powada Painting and Wallcovering, Inc.

When I started Powada Painting and Wallcovering, Inc., I knew there were a lot of Painting Contractors in the Houston area.  I believed the keys to success were:

to provide quality service

treat the customers field staff and office support staff with respect

our painters had to be professional, courteous and trained in the latest technoligies and products

offer fair pricing

make myself visible and known during all phases of the project
